The Free Neighborhood Chamber Concert Series supports the Orchestra’s HEAR initiative and its continued work to reach deeper into the communities of Philadelphia.

Continuing its work to reach deeper into the communities of Philadelphia, and as part of its ongoing commitment to community service, The Philadelphia Orchestra announces four free community concerts at venues and neighborhoods off the Avenue of the Arts where the Orchestra is expanding its presence. These neighborhood chamber concerts, featuring ensembles of varying sizes, will take place from April through July at the following locations: the Museum of the American Revolution in Old City, Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church in West Philadelphia, Historic Strawberry Mansion in East Fairmount Park, and Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown.

Support for these concerts is generously provided by the William Penn Foundation.

Come early and bring the kids for pre-concert activities beginning at 1:30 PM. There will be free lunch at 2 PM provided by Birchtree Catering before the concert starts at 3 PM.

This event will take place rain or shine. There will be parking on site at the Historic Strawberry Mansion with additional parking at the Dell Music Center.
