TASTE, the new vegan restaurant from Sand Castle Winery, will host a winemakers dinner at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug 31. Executive Chef Theo Charitos will pair a six course vegan menu with select wines from Sand Castle Winery. Winemaker, Joseph Maxian will host the event and discuss the food and wine pairings. The cost is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
The evenings selections feature Portuguese Chicken & Sausage paired with Chardonnay Classic; Huli Huli Rib Sliders paired with Dry Rose; Lao Street Tacos paired with Cabernet Sauvignon; Chicken BBW paired with Pinot Noir; Chocolate strawberry Mousse paired with Alpine Spice; and Alpine Spice Sunday paired with Late Harvest Riesling.
Maxian will chat with guests who arrive between 6 and 6:45 p.m. Wine samples and nibbles will also be provided.
