Directions to The Pearl S. Buck Estate

From Route 611–

  • Take Route 611 to Route 313 West (if you are traveling south on 611 you must first take the “Main Street” Exit, on the left as you enter Doylestown)
  • Take 313 for just over 5 miles
  • In Dublin make a left at the light (Elephant Road)
  • This road Dublin Road – The Pearl S. Buck Estate is approximately ¾ of a mile ahead on the right just after a one lane bridge
From East/West Turnpike–
  • Take the Willow Grove Exit (Exit 343) and bear right onto 611 North
  • Follow directions above
From Route 309–
  • Take Route 309 North to Hilltown Pike and make a right if traveling North. (Make a left if you are traveling South on Route 309.)
  • Travel 0.4 miles to the Township Line Road and Hilltown Pike traffic light, where you will bear left and continue on Hilltown Pike.
  • You will pass Saint Peter’s Church and cemetery on your left hand side after approximately 1.4 miles.
  • Hilltown Pike merges with Route 152 North after approximately 1.2 miles.
  • Bear Left after traveling 0.4 miles, continuing on Route 152 North (Hilltown Post Office & Hilltown Deli will be on your left hand side).
  • At the very next intersection of Route 152 North and Hilltown Pike you will bear Right onto Hilltown Pike after traveling 0.2 miles (Intersection is controlled by Stop signs you do not have to stop when bearing right)
  • Continue on Hilltown Pike through the traffic light intersection with Callowhill Street
  • Bear Left to stay on Hilltown Pike after traveling 1.4 miles (Upper Church Road is to the Right)
  • Make a Right at the next street, Dublin Road
  • The Pearl S. Buck Estate is approximately 0.8 miles on the Left.
From the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike–
  • Take the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike
  • Take Exit 31 off the Turnpike
  • At the end of the exit make a left onto Sumneytown Pike (Route 63)
  • Take a left onto Forty Foot Road (Route 63)
  • Route 63 will turn right at Ralph’s Corner Shopping Center
  • Make a left at Orvilla Road
  • At Route 463 make a right then a quick left to stay on Orvilla Road
  • Orvilla Road makes a right at Maple Avenue – follow Orvilla Road
  • Make a right onto Route 309 and follow directions above
